Asian Development Youth Forum
|
Asian Development Youth Forum (ADYF) is a student association established in April, 2004 at the University of Tokyo, Japan. We are interested in the development of developing countries, and eager to get involved in these issues in the future as well. We try to gain "experiences," which are difficult to have on campus. Each member, from a freshman to a graduate student, belongs to various universities around Tokyo, who also have different majors. We set high values to have presence and broad perspectives, not quite easy to obtain only at school. Our core conceptions are "Be with the Asian youth" and "See, Think, Create and Convey."
ADYF is a place for studying, different from universities. Our goal is to grow up to be the support and driving force of the future by acquiring knowledge, ability and companions through the activities at ADYF.

From this semester, we had a change in members, operation systems, and the study field. We are now focusing the field of the Mekong River District, especially on "the development and problems of industry in a border area," "utilization of water and Buddhism events in communities" and "the system of a stock market in each country." Please let us know if you are interested in any of these ADYF activities. (Dec. 1st, 2008)
