Activities

Present Condition

Since the establishment of our organization, we have taken an overview of Vietnam, the Philippines, and the Mekong River District. With the great cooperation of many people such as experts and researchers, we have succeeded in doing our research on development issues in those countries.

Study Cycle

The followings are the main activities of ADYF.

Weekly Study Sessions

Study session done once a week is the fundamental activity in ADYF. After gaining basic knowledge, we pick out a hot issue, share our interests, divide the members into a few small groups along his/her own interest, and establish a theme. Then, each group investigates the themes more carefully with various angles, receiving some comments from experts, scholars and youth of other Asian countries. Finally the results will be put together as a report.

Field Studies

Every summer and spring vacation, we get out of the classroom and go on a field trip! By seeing and feeling the realities out there, we can now reestablish our themes, make a survey plan, put the plan into practice and have a consideration with the results gained from weekly study sessions.

Output

Prospects in the Future

We will keep trying to create and convey our ideas which are even more practical and possible to be realized. ADYF was started with the cooperation of Vietnamese youth, so we hope to continue working with them, and later even with the youth of other Asian developing nations.
